![]() ![]() So at least from what I gather, the majority of use of the word "AI" is in katakana, the written form of Japanese that's mostly used for spelling words borrowed from another language. Add in the fact that it spells out a romanized version of the Japanese word for "love," and you've got yourself all kinds of room for wordplay! The whole song's kinda full of 'em, actually. The direct reference to the character's name is an added bonus, though I get the feeling it's more of the reverse (that the name's a reference to artificial intelligence). ![]() ![]() ![]() a robot, android, or any other kind of really smart computer program. Did anyone else have a massive fit of giggles because of this song title besides me? I mean, c'mon, it's so punny! I'd hope you'd all know that "A.I." stands for "artificial intelligence," i.e. I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! Ai's so flippin adorable!!! ♥♥♥♥♥ And I got my other things! So here we have the third new Idol Song album for UtaPri, this time featuring Ai! Oh, and my notes this time will actually contain real notes on the translations and not just my usual thoughts and comments~ So, for those of you who were expecting this next post to be Corda Blue♪Sky's "WINGS TO FLY," sorry to disappoint you, but I DID mention that the Corda thing was just a thing until I got my hands on these other things. But the last couple of days, I've been working on some romanizing instead of translating, and most of the time, that involved attempting to type up the kanji from printed text I can't just highlight and copy+paste.
